STAY TOASTY THIS WINTER WITH SMEG & NUTELLA

Win a Smeg x Nutella branded toaster!

28/05/2020

Nutella and Smeg have launched a new campaign to encourage Australians to Stay Toasty during the cooler months. The Italian brands have partnered to give consumers the chance to win one of 20 exclusive Nutella-branded Smeg white four-slice toasters each day.

As temperatures tumble, the iconic Italian brands are collaborating to give Australians a positive way to start Winter mornings. The Stay Toasty campaign will see a limited-edition design added to the retro-classic Smeg appliance, with 1,200 one-of-a-kind toasters made exclusively for the competition.

For a chance to win, customers can simply purchase a specially-marked jar of Nutella and follow the on-pack instructions to enter online. The campaign will run until 2 July 2020, with point of sale placements across a range of retailers across Australia and New Zealand.

Rebecca Yu, Brand Manager for Nutella said, ‘We are thrilled to partner with an iconic Italian brand like Smeg. We know that the winter mornings can be challenging for some, especially in the current environment, so we hope the chance to win an iconic Nutella x Smeg toaster will brighten our consumers’ days and inspire them to try something new for breakfast as they stay toasty this winter with Nutella’.

Jim Kalotheos, Smeg Australia Managing Director said: “We are delighted to collaborate with another Italian brand that is loved by many Australians.  We know Nutella holds a very special place in many consumers’ hearts and with Stay Toasty we are excited to introduce our brand to a wider audience, in a different way.”

Both Nutella and Smeg are third generation family businesses, based in northern Italy, operating globally. Owned by the Ferrero Group, Nutella is a much-loved cultural icon sharing similar values as Smeg – a strong focus on community; passion for innovation and creativity; and commitment to quality and sustainable manufacturing.

Nutella, the world’s favourite hazelnut spread has appeared on the breakfast tables of millions of people around the world for over 50 years. Made locally for Australian consumers, Nutella’s unique taste comes from seven quality ingredients including real hazelnuts.

Smeg’s signature retro silhouette has made its toaster an integral part of the small appliance breakfast offering. Launched in 2015, the award-winning collection also includes coffee and food preparation appliances, all paying homage to Smeg’s 70 plus year cooking and innovation heritage.

The Stay Toasty campaign runs until 2 July.
