Introducing world-class built-in cooking technology to the Freestanding market

Smeg’s new 90cm Thermoseal Freestanding Cookers are genuine design icons where style goes hand in hand with performance, easy operation and minimal energy consumption. Now with the addition of innovative Thermoseal cooking technology and a spacious 126L cavity, they are the ultimate dream kitchen feature - introducing world-class built-in cooking technology to the Freestanding market.

Smeg’s innovative approach, that began with the introduction of the pioneering Elisabeth model in 1956, has culminated in the most advanced and sophisticated freestanding models on the market – leading the way in both functionality and performance. Enhanced with the addition of Thermoseal cooking technology and Venturi atmospheric control, they deliver a perfectly controlled cooking environment for consistently better results, everytime. Tailored Dynamic Airflow engineering ensures absolute even cooking throughout each shelf, corner-to-corner with twin fans circulating air efficiently over five cooking levels and through the cutaways in our specially designed trays. It’s this process that means that cooking with Smeg seals in the flavour of succulent roasts, delivers crisp pastry, light and airy cakes and perfectly crusty bread – cooked exactly as intended.

When entertaining, the massive capacity of Smeg’s 90cm Freestanding Cookers makes catering simple. The generous 126 litres mean two roasts can be cooked side-by-side, with a huge tray of vegetables at the same time! Healthy, hearty meals for the entire family are ready in just 30 minutes! It’s simple, set and forget cooking with no user intervention required.

Cleaning up is a breeze too with the Vapour Clean function and Smeg’s signature Ever Clean enamel formula that ensures an easy wipe down and maximum durability.

Smeg’s collection of freestanding cookers also offer unprecedented design choice - consumers can select from the vintage styling of the award-winning Victoria upright, available in black or panna (cream) enamel, and the commercial-inspired design of the Classic models hand-crafted in satin stainless steel with the added option of either a gas or induction cooktop. Designed by renowned Italian architect, Guido Canali – the Classic has been an industry leader since its introduction in 1985.
