Victoria and FAB by Smeg kitchen transformation

The talented team at Melbourne based Norsu Interiors have transformed an unloved and unworkable kitchen with Victoria by Smeg oven and cooktop, small appliances, FAB fridge in their signature Scandi-inspired style – making light work of a challenging renovation project.

Known as the Norsu Home project, friends Nat Wheeler and Kristy Sadlier came together when Nat purchased a new ‘fixer-upper’ family home in late 2017 in Melbourne’s Glen Iris. The classic 1920s Californian Bungalow needed some work, but had great structure and potential. Within a matter of weeks, they documented the demolition and transformation of the old house into a beautiful Nordic-inspired, family home all within the space of 5 short months!

This meant a mix of clever planning from the very beginning, staying within the original footprint of the home and adding a clear and consistent aesthetic. In this case incorporating Smeg’s Victoria collection in white through her kitchen oven and cooktop and pairing this with Smeg’s retro small appliances range and signature FAB refrigerator. Along with the efficient Diamond Series dishwasher, which was integrated into the joinery These premium appliances perfectly accentuated the Nordic colour palette of white, soft grey and blush pink.

Smeg’s Victoria collection ovens are genuine design icons where style goes hand in hand with performance, easy operation and minimal energy consumption. With the addition of innovative Thermoseal cooking technology, they are the ultimate dream kitchen feature.
