Smeg's class-leading design arrives on Love It Or List It

Smeg has partnered with Foxtel Lifestyle Channel’s high profile hit series Love It Or List It as major sponsor and official supplier. Focusing on the renovation of one home each week, under the guidance of celebrity interior designer Neale Whitaker and real estate expert Andrew Winter, the programme’s format is a perfect fit with Smeg’s unique standing as the only brand to offer a wide range of distinctly different design aesthetics.

Each episode will showcase one home, each of a different architectural style, and when the renovations are complete, the owners will make a decision to either keep their home or list it for sale.

Appearing on the Lifestyle channel, one of Foxtel’s most popular, the 13-part series will see episodes feature each of Smeg’s five design aesthetics – Classic, Linear, Victoria, Portofino and Dolce Stil Novo – along with the brand’s award-winning small appliances.

As Neale Whitaker commented: “Smeg’s Classic collection means consumers can now have both style and superior cooking performance in the one appliance. Classic packs a visual design punch”.

Love It Or List It airs on Wednesdays at 8.30pm on Foxtel’s Lifestyle Channel.

Picnic Point, NSW episode kitchen transformation

Picnic Point in Sydney’s southwest is home to school teachers Tim and Nat. Previously their home’s layout was disjointed and the living areas were too small for a family of five. After interior designer Neale Whitaker cleverly and creatively flipped the floorplan, the kitchen, dining and living spaces were remixed into one light and airy space, seamlessly flowing to the outdoors, leaving Tim and Nat no choice but to ‘Love it’.

Tea Tree Gully, SA episode kitchen transformation

Leafy Tea Tree Gully, half an hour from Adelaide is home to Tracy and Antony. The impressive garden views, do not make up for the challenging layout, especially the dark and divided living and kitchen areas. Under Neale Whitaker’s guidance, the arduous layout has been replaced with a bright, airy open-plan combined dining, living and kitchen space. The kitchen has benefited from the inclusion of sleek and sophisticated black Linear by Smeg major appliances and matching small appliances. After the amazing transformation, the couple decided to ‘Love it’.

Yarrawarrah, NSW episode kitchen transformation

Celebrity interior designer and style guru Neale Whitaker worked his magic on Isaac and Renee’s much-loved family home in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire – he knocked out a wall to connect the kitchen, dining and living rooms into one seamless open-plan space, adding much needed light and synergy to the kitchen. He selected Classic by Smeg for its timeless appeal, a family-friendly FAB32 fridge and colourful small appliances. The couple were overjoyed with their new, functional home with added space for their young daughters and entertaining friends and family and decided, unsurprisingly, to ‘Love it’.

Preston, VIC episode kitchen transformation

Con and Rita decided not to sell their family home after Neale Whitaker’s stunning transformation.  Their new kitchen, complete with eternally stylish Classic by Smeg major appliances and retro small appliances, is perfect for entertaining their family and friends.  The stainless steel and sleek black Smeg appliances complete Neale’s sophisticated monochrome Art Deco look with the contrasting white surfaces and dark cabinetry.  The other key to the success of the new layout is the island bench, built for cooking as well as conversation.
