Question: What's the difference between fan-forced and fan-assisted ovens?

Fan-forced ovens have a heating element around the fan behind the rear panel. The electric element heats the air being circulated by the fan and evenly distributes it throughout the oven. Fan-assisted ovens have two heating elements, one in the roof and one in the base with a fan (but no element) at the back. Both functions enable circulating airflow and even cooking, however fan assisted cooking is a little gentler.
