Pizza

Ingredients

1kg strong flour
30g dried yeast
25g sugar, or honey if you prefer
600ml water, tepid
25g salt
200ml olive oil

Method

Place the flour into a mixer, add yeast, sugar and salt, mix together until well combined for five minutes using the dough hook attachment.

Combine the oil and water together and gradually add to the flour mix until you form a smooth dough. (You may not need all the water or you may need a little extra, depending on the hardness of the flour). The dough should be smooth and elastic.

Place the dough into a large greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap and place the bowl in a warm place and rest for one hour. The dough will rise to double its size.

Punch the dough back and roll out to the desired 8 pizza shapes. Place onto a baking sheet.

Select Fan Assisted on your oven and set temperature to 200°C 

Add your favourite topping. Place onto shelf 2, bake for 18–20 minutes. For the last 5 minutes of cooking switch to Bakers Function to crispen the base. Serve immediately.
