How do I clean my Oven?

When cleaning Smeg ovens it is important not to use ammonia-based cleaners. Wash with a clean cloth soaked in warm soapy water, rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Be careful not to use excessive water when cleaning your oven in order to avoid water passing through clefts into the back of control panels or of the unit. A steamer is not to be used in cleaning this appliance. The use of stainless steel cleaners will minimise grease, fingerprints or light buff scratches. Stainless steel cleaners also place a light protective film ensuring original appearance. Non-abrasive cleaners can be used to clean cook tops and oven doors although never clean a stainless steel appliance using steel wool or an abrasive cloth, as this will leave fine scratches on the surface, which cannot be removed.
